SCOTTS GALLANT EAGLE is a classic, Catalonian style jack, with very nice conformation, disposition, and energy-level.  An excellent cross for Redman, Black Bart, and Big John bloodlines.  SCOTTS GALLANT EAGLE is by Scotts Jack, a famous sire of many show and race mules and donkeys.  His dam's sire, Big John, holds the still uncontested claim of siring more Champion mules and donkeys than any other jack in the United States.  SCOTTS GALLANT EAGLE was shown extensively in halter, under saddle, and driving; never being defeated in halter.  He went to Bishop Mule Days only once, and won World Champion Halter Jack in 1986.  He earned the title of World Champion Halter Jack, and Reserve  National Champion Performance and Driving (behind Dry Creek Maynard) in 1990.

He holds the honor of providing the first United States export of frozen jack semen to England, with multiple mules on the ground as a result. Photos of some of his donkey and mule offspring are available, out of Suffolk Punch mares.  Semen is currently available in New Zealand, with a mule on the ground (photos also available).

For contracts and further information, contact Al and Melinda Birt at, or e-mail: mbirt@rmci.net.  Frozen semen stored at and shipped from Pacific International Genetics.
