One hundred day-tested and fully licensed in Germany, ESBJERG competed to the preliminary level in jumping before being purchased by Lauren Carse as her FEI Junior Young Rider mount in dressage. He has three elegant, rideable gaits, and a wonderful temperament. He is an especially good cross on Thoroughbred mares to produce hunters and jumpers; crossing with Warmblood mares tends to produce a good dressage type horse. ESBJERG has produced three AHSA Zone Champions and many others in North America. Frozen semen quality is excellent, with many foals on the ground using only one or two straws of semen on a single cycle. Best pregnancy rates to date (90%) have been by using two straws per cycle; one before, and one after ovulation; 60% with single straws. As a result, there is a special semen price of $500. for the first two doses; $750. for four doses. For mares brought to Pacific International Genetics, a flat $500. stud fee applies, regardless of straw number required. Photo credit to Scarlet at Showcase Imagery.
